A few changes in your title tag may land you on page one.

I have seen so many sites who do not use their page titles corectly. They ether have their store name here, or their url as the title. Only the people that are looking for www.mysite.com will ever find it. The page title should be full of your main keywords. Change this one tag and you might see yourself on page one on Google, MSN, Yahoo and others.

I agree with you. If you make title tag very informative and include right keywords than definitely you land on first page. It should not be greater than 65 to 70 characters.

Absolutely correct. Right usage of keyword in the title tag and meta tag is no doubt you will own the top spot in search engine on that keyword.
