Personally, I'm not reviewing it because of the banner in your signature. Not because of what's on it because I really don’t care, but it is because it's obnoxious. Sorry, just my opinion. Please don’t take offence. You asked why...
Take care,
~Barbara

I still don't like the idea of a banner for your signature but at least it's not flashing like the other one. Anyway, overall I think you have it well organized. You've obviously invested a lot of time in it! It's well organized, not hard on the eyes. It’s a rather large site so I'm glad you have a search engine on it. That was a very good choice.

hey thanks for your honesty, yeah I have a lot fo content on my sit eand was asked by many readers to add a search tool to it. But thank you. I thought you were upset with the content of the banner. Is there a rule saying no banner that i might have missed? If so I'll be happy to remove it. Once again thank-you.

There isn't. We're not fond of oversized banners, nor of animated ones, but as long as nobody objects we won't either if they are not exaggerated.

We only ask to keep the complete public of this board in mind: everyone, all ages, genders, beliefs, religions, and so on. So the obvious ones (nudity, gambling, hacking, drugs, hate, and so on) are not allowed. We can't disallow a link in people's signatures, but there too the fontsize matters.

Same goes for avatars by the way. As long as everyone keeps the entire public of this board in mind and takes their responsibility, there should be no problem.

And if anyone is offended by something and doesn't want to contact the forum-member directly, just contact Richard (rchmura) or me, and we'll try to handle things "backstage".

Well, yes: backstage. We're working on it :)

Your site's Lay out is very nice not hard with eyes and very smooth i wud give 8 out of 10 for layout.

BTW i did notice smthing in your code
<META NAME="Robots" CONTENT="Follow">
is there any specific reason for not putting index value? otherwise some search engines may not index your home page at all.

Rest everything is ok, cool work keep it up

I'm not the owner of the site in question. However, I would like to say that I used to spend time filling those tags out but it got old fast. I haven't done it in a long time. I see absolutely no difference in search engines finding my site. I have more hits now than ever before without filling in that tag. I'm not saying that it will not make a difference but in my opinion, that's a thing of the past. Most engines look at the page text itself as that is more precise than the tag anyway. You can put anything in the tag, even if it has nothing to do with the page.
Just my 2 cents.
Take care,

That tag does make a difference, but (for me at least) in the opposite way: I use it to keep certain pages out of search engines.

I've noticed that my site gets indexed a lot better and I get more hits from people searching for specific content with that. I guess if it's not broke dont fix it unless you guys can tell me maybe what I could do with the tags to make it better

Must be coincidence, since that code only tells spiders to follow links, not to index your page.
But in general, unless you tell them to not index, they will, tag or not.

You may want to look in the HTML section of this board for a small tutorial on so called meta-tags, and in that tutorial you'll find a link to Grelmar's tutorial on search engine optimization.
