I noticed something about being on Googles Page One

I have been suprised lately by where my traffic is comming from. My sites traffic has increased sense I re-did my main keyword phrases, but something else has happened. I first noticed traffic coming from an online magazine, it also is an on the shelf mag in stores. Anyway in this mag was a shopping section, and there it was, a link to my site, an unsoliceted link and approval of a national on line and off line magazine. Ofcource i was excited and told everyone. then Two days later I see another huge increase in traffic, so i do some looking, I'm thinking it has to be this article in the mag right? well this time it is comming from a Television Station! It has some kind of comunity links for different things and right there! There it was again, a link to my site. All this from changeing my main keywords and doing some seo and landing about 10 keyword phrases on page one of Google and a few on page two. And I am getting about 20% of my traffic from Yahoo and MSN, But alot of traffic from smaller Search Engines as well. So my point is realy try hard on your site and do some reserch on your keywords, You could get some unexspected links to boost your hit counter and sales.
